1. What this service is
How I Cleared My Debts provides educational content, organisational tools and estimates to help you understand and reduce your debts. It is not a lender, broker, debt management company, insolvency practitioner or regulated adviser, and it does not provide personalised financial, legal or tax advice.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the figures you enter. Estimates are only as good as the information provided. Do not share your account with anyone other than a household member permitted by your plan.
3. Memberships and billing
Membership plans are billed monthly or annually in US dollars. Annual plans are billed once for twelve months at a 20% discount on the monthly rate. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the paid period. Prices shown in other currencies are indicative conversions for guidance only.
4. Digital purchases
The eBook is a one-off digital purchase delivered immediately. Where the law gives you a cancellation right for digital content, that right may be lost once download has begun; your statutory rights are not affected and we will always honour them.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other members' data, reverse engineer the service, scrape content at scale, or resell or republish our material. Do not submit deliberately false data to gain an advantage in any challenge or competition feature.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as the platform develops, and we will not remove a feature you have paid for during a paid period without offering a fair remedy.
7. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of estimates produced by our tools, for lender charges, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
